Stefan Velkov
Stefan Velkov, an entrepreneur from Nova Gorica, has a degree in Geography with a specialisation in Geoinformatics. An expert in precision viticulture, he uses drones and multispectral analysis to improve vineyard health.
He develops innovative strategies for agricultural management, including 3D surveys and drainage studies.
Elena Magnis
Erica Magnis, graduated agricultural technician. In 2015 she follows a post-diploma IFTS and starts a work experience in wine consulting. In 2021 she decides to study wine marketing and starts following some small wineries in social and communication management.
Since 2022 she is agricultural technician and administrative support for Vitenova.
Giacomo Nunin
Giacomo Nunin (1994), agronomist and Vitenova partner, has been working with the company since 2019 on both Italian and foreign projects. Thanks to the experience gained during numerous territorial monitoring experiences in the Upper Adriatic Sea, he particularly delves into aspects related to integrated and biological vineyard protection. Through the organization of experimental field trials, he also applies and studies agronomic techniques for adaptation to climate change. Enrolled since 2021 in the Register of the National Order of Agronomists and Foresters and a licensed consultant on plant protection products (P.A.N.).
Michele Staiano
Michele Staiano, born in Bologna in 1987, is an agronomist based in Monte San Pietro. Graduated in Agriculture in 2011, he worked for 10 years with biostimulants in Italy and abroad. Since 2021 he’s a freelancer, Phytosanitary Consultant, and member of the Bologna Agronomists’ Order.
He collaborates with Vitenova on projects in northern Italy and Tuscany.
Cristiano Francescato
Cristiano Francescato, PhD in Natural Sciences from Trieste, is an expert in biomonitoring and environmental assessments.
Since 2013 he has been working with Vitenova applying an agroecological approach to vineyards, studying plant biodiversity and its impact. He manages agronomic data and promotes sustainable practices by integrating botanical, entomological and environmental analyses.
Stefano Amedeo
Agronomist – CEO and Partner of Vitenova.
Expert in organic and regenerative agriculture and company management. Main focus: study and characterisation of soils and vineyards, planning, phytosanitary and physiological management, vineyard-wine relationship. Member of the National Order of Agronomists and Foresters since 2006 and qualified consultant in plant protection products (P.A.N.).

Stefano Zaninotti
Stefano Zaninotti, a founding partner of Vitenova in 2008, has studied, investigated and applied all the techniques that can bring the vineyard into a condition of balance with the environment, man and the quality of the wine obtained. A pioneer of innovative techniques on vine nutrition, defence induction, soil microbiology and agro-environmental studies, he looks to the future by studying and re-proposing ‘culture of viticulture’ in its essence, the pre – oidic, peronosporic and phylloxeric one.
Francesca Fantoni
Francesca Fantoni (Pisa, 1978), degree in History and Philosophy, PhD in Germanistics (F. Schiller Universität Jena) as well as a Master’s degree in ‘Italian Wine and International Markets’ (Scuola Superiore S. Anna, Pisa).
Specialised in digital food & wine communication and SEO. Sommelier AIS, passionate about artisanal wines, has worked for Slow Food and Slow Wine, actually works for a wine e-commerce and since 2022 for Vitenova.
